Quests are a form of missons in Dead Island See also: Quests. In Dead Island, it is first encountered at the church, in the city of Moresby in Act II. In Dead Island: Riptide, it is first encountered in front of the Old Town Cinema in Henderson and is rather uncommon in the game.
Melee Weapon Attributes Melee weapons are your best defense against the undead horde, and as they say the best offense is a good defense. Pretty much anything you come across that is sharp, pointy, blunt, or whatever can probably be used as a weapon. Each weapon carries a number of stats that will help you determine whether the weapon is worth crafting into something finer in the long run. The stats you have are:Damage How much damage the weapon does to the target. The more the better.Force How much this will affect the target's stamina. The more the better. Additionally, prone enemies take a sum of Force plus Damage values.Durability The higher the durability, the more abuse a weapon can withstand.
Again, the higher, the better.Handling. The higher the number, the better it handles and, consequently, uses lesser stamina. The higher, the better.Firearms Attributes Firearms have slightly different attributes from melee weapons. They also do not break (no thanks to Condemned: Criminal Origins), but they do run out of ammunition. A firearm without ammunition is easily the most unusable item in your inventory.Damage Effectively the same as the melee weapon damage attribute. Some firearms have higher base damage ratings (e.g., Magnum, Short Shotgun, etc.).Accuracy How accurate the weapon is from certain distances.
High accuracy firearms will waver less when aiming down sight (ADS).Rate of Fire Obviously, a weapon like a shotgun will have a slower rate of fire than, say, a rifle. High rates of fire are preferable when you need to shoot quickly.
Note that shooting quickly doesn't mean you kill enemies faster, as that is determined by a firearm's damage rating.Reload Speed The lower it is, the faster you reload the weapon. For the most part, this value is moot, as you can usually reload while far away from enemies.Rarity & Colors In addition, weapons are grouped into colored categories (the color of their names) based on their rarity and quality:. White - Common. Green - Uncommon. Blue - Rare.
Purple - Unique. Yellow / Orange / Gold - ExceptionalIn Dead Island, weapons vary greatly, from sticks and paddles, to automatic rifles, to medieval Instruments of mayhem. As there is such diversity, this section will be split into two parts: and.Note that the quality of a weapon or item is not a clear indication of how effective an item is. For example, let's say you pick up a Crowbar that is rated 'exceptional'. You keep it and after a earning two or three levels, you find a 'Used Crowbar' that is common (white lettering). Despite the earlier exceptional Crowbar being more valuable, the higher level 'Used Crowbar' will probably do more damage.Keep that in mind as you gain levels in Dead Island, as you will constantly be rotating out older weapons for better ones until you hit the level maximum.
Remember that the money you use to modify weapons can be better put into making worthwhile explosives (to take out hordes of zombies or tough zombies like Rams, Thugs, Butchers, etc.).Additionally, modified weapons sometimes have less durability than their original versions (it depends on the quality of the weapon's base form). Remember to preview the weapon you plan to create; like Kingdom Under Fire Circle of Doom's 'item synthesis', the previews accurately forecast your creation!One-Handed vs Two-Handed Some weapons are one-handed weapons, others are two-handed.
While this doesn't really mean much for most cases, two-handed weapons tend to have a longer reach but are slower to swing. Additionally, some skills affect only one-handed weapons. To check if a weapon is one-handed or two-handed, get a glimpse of your character's shadow. You can see if they are holding a weapon with one or two hands.

Monster squad soundtrack. Anyways. The Soundtrack has many tracks that Monster Sqaud fans will find familar, however,it is a SCORE rather than a soundtrack, so classics like 'Rock until you Drop' and 'The Monster Squad' are not on the CD.which totally sucks. But I bought it anyways 'cause I'm a total sucker for Monster Squad Paraphernalia. Ps) Fred Dekker needs a hug.
