Alex Mason | 18 Jun, 2012 | Lead dog | Brilliant route. Climbed to the thread (good condition), reversed to deck with unshiftable foot cramp. Got back on and pumped out on the undercuts on the left wall. Lowered off and pulled ropes. Climbed to the peg/pocket on the original to find no good holds in the pocket and grabbed the peg forgetting I was still on for a clean lead. Bugger. The three sets of moves to leave the chimney and gain the original all felt harder than the crux of the original. Solid 6b and imo not that soft at E6. Abbed off. |

Duncan Campbell | 18 Jun, 2012 | 2nd dog | Blimey!! After a lot of upping and downing, Al put in a mint effort up to the rusty old peg, its still tricky after that, but if you do the moves to the peg clean and aren't totally cooked you'd be fine. I started aiding once I got to the first thread. Seemed to be a lot of 6b, not that I climbed any of it. |

My husband and I have used Mammoth Reservations on 2 different occasions this season. We had a great experience with them both times and no problems in the process of booking our cabins. When we had difficulty getting our internet to work, they were able to help us resolve it within minutes. The cabins themselves have been extremely nice! They are clean, well-equipped, comfortable and within minutes of the lifts. We are frequent travelers to Mammoth and have tried many lodging options out there.
Special forces group 2 play online. We have decided to use Mammoth Reservations for our future trips and are recommending it to our friends and family.
